11 11 Synchronicity Phenomenon
Seeing 11 or 11 11 Everywhere?
For many years now a growing number of people have been experiencing the so called 11-11 phenomenon. This is the experience of becoming acutely aware of seeing the number 11, but especially when it appears somewhere in the format of two elevens together. It is fair to say that this can also be in forms like 1111, 111.1, 11 11, 11:11 rather than only in one fixed format.
Essentially the process is that a person begins to find that almost every time they look somewhere that numbers are depicted they see this type of combination. As this number begins to appear much more often than any other it starts to defy the laws of chance. Along with this they also find occurrences of seeing this number, or combination, linked to things that are significantly meaningful to them or somehow important to their own life, often relating to spiritual self development issues.
The most commonly seen format is that of 11:11 seen on a digital clock or on wrist watches. The numbers come up on clocks, in books, cards, and among everyday events. Due to the 24 hour format of digital time devices people may also see 23.11 popping up. Accompanied by this is the weird internal sensation that this number sequence means something important to them in itself, yet they struggle to comprehend exactly what the meaning is.
For many years the best explanations given publicly for this phenomena were that it was either pure chance, wishful thinking, or something to do with a group of 11-11 angels. The best explanation was that it was a further example of synchronicity, meaningful coincidence.
The number 11 appears in the system of number analysis we know as numerology. The numerological interpretation commonly attributed to that number is that it marks the beginning of new cycles, increased spiritual leanings and compassion. It is considered as one of the master numbers, those few that are not reduced by the addition of the constituent numbers. This idea of 11 being related to new cycles and increased spirituality are quite fascinating to hold in mind when we note that the recent global interest in the end of the Mayan Long Count calendar was tied to the time 11:11. On December 21st 2012, the last day of the Long Count, the Winter Solstice occurred at exactly 11:11AM. There is also the fact that if we take the Mayan symbol for the number 11, duplicate it, flip both symbols, shift them ninety degrees, we now have the exact image of 11:11.
The Sun also plays a part in this subject, in that it has an important magnetic field cycle of approximately 11 years in length (not far off 11.11 years actually). I am no Heliophysicist nor particle physicist, I rarely brave attempting to explaining any magnetospheric dynamics. Even respected ‘experts’ on the science behind the workings of our nearest star admit that they do not have complete models. New understandings are constantly being reached in this area of astrophysics. There is though no doubt that the Sun’s erratic behaviour has massive effects on Earth’s biosphere. We sometimes forget that we do not merely orbit the sun but rather reside deep within its magnetosphere, the invisible part of the sun that extends out as a spherical bubble enclosing the inner planets. Many experts have contended that changes in atmospheric ion count for example can effect human and animal behaviour, as well as our bio-clocks. Thus influencing biological, physiological and behavioral patterns of all living things. Certainly we know that some frequencies of radiation from the sun can effect cell division or brain functions. Excess or lack of certain frequencies and types of solar radiation have been observed to give radical effects on human beings under laboratory conditions. One wonders if the Sun is somehow the source of 11 11 synchronicity?
Nikola Tesla, the unsung hero of science whom gave us such wonders as alternating current (imagine not having that!), was very interested in the Sun. Although a hard scientist he was also rather superstitious about numbers, and held the perhaps strange belief that the Sun and the Earth were dynamic living organisms. A belief held by many indigenous peoples of the America’s. I mention this because on some level I am left wondering if the Sun is either consciously or by unknown natural mechanisms communicating with the life forms that inhabit its sphere of influence. There are even important 11 year long cycles in human population growth related to birth rates.
Is the Sun, our temporal governor, speaking to us through the very devices that display its movement through the divisions of the day. Could this really be like the elephant in the living room that nobody wants to see. The sun having an 11 year cycle, the winter solstice of 2012 falling exactly on 11:11, and people all over the world finding themselves bombarded with 11’s around this point of time.
Other cosmic 11´s turn up in the recent finding that the entire mass of the black hole, posited to be central to our galaxy´s spin, rotates once every 11 minutes. then there are the two comets called 34D/Gale and Boethin, both of which have mysteriously vanished. These happened to have 11 year periodicity.
Interestingly 11’s have played important roles in history. The 11th minute of the 11th hour of the 11th day is the official moment of remembrance for all the lives lost during the terrible fighting in Europe during WWI, as it was the day on which war officially finished. Two minutes of silence are observed, a pair of 1’s yet again. Then we have the more recent initiation of a war on September 11-01, which may yet come to be remembered as the start of WWIII. Supposedly 111 is a ‘power number’ related to fresh modes of thinking applied to new cycles in life‘s play. Not only did we have the start of the war-on-terror on the 11th day of September 2001, but it was heralded by the destruction of the two great world trade centre buildings, these appeared to form a giant number 11 on the New York skyline. The 1st plane that impacted the buildings was actually flight 11, carrying 11 crew members on-board.
As a writer on the 21-12-2012 Mayan calendar subject, I would like to mention that the WTC attacks occurred just over 11 years from the end of the Mayan calendar, and that the numbers within that date can be added together thus 2+1+1+2+2+0+1+2, to equal the number 11. Some say this date marked the start of a ‘New Age’, specifically the era of Aquarius, it is then notable that the water bearer is the 11th sign of the 12 sign zodiac cycle.
I have myself experienced many 11:11 temporal synchronicity events. Additionally I have a one next to another one in my birth-date, 01 01, which on an intuitive level always felt some-how important to my life quest. It was the synchronicity of separate personal contacts having sent me 11:11 related data within hours of one another that brought this subject up again actually. Logging into a 2012 site in which to post a follow up I found myself on post number 1111 of the web thread. Perhaps most incredible for me is that my journey to Egypt for 11-11-2011 directly led to my later encounter with a race of higher beings from the Pleiades. But that is, as they say, another story.
P.s. Whilst editing this article I looked at the clock and saw that it was 11:11 am!
